chocolate?? i love it..

hey guys?? do you like chocolate? i like chocolate very much, but i don't like the dark chocolate because of the taste..
i think if you are the person who like the chocolate you must know the history about chocolate..
okay now i tell you about the chocolate....

at the first time chocolate played a special role in both Maya and Aztec royal and religious events. Priests presented cocoa seeds as offerings to the gods and served chocolate beverages during sacred ceremonies.All of the areas that were conquered by the Aztecs that grew cacao beans were ordered to pay them as a tax, or as the Aztecs called it, a "tribute".
then the Maya and the Artec found more adventages about cocoa. they can made the beverages from cocoa seeds and the taste was bitter. they called it xcoalt, and in 1519, they served it to Hernán Cortés, the spanish conquered. he brought the cocoa seeds ti spanish,and the place was secret for more a hundred years.

don't you know the first chocolate industry in America was estabilished by John Hannan and James Baker at Dorchester, Massachusetts, in 1765.

the first chocolate bar at England was sold by Fry and Sons in 1847. John Cadbury (1801-1889) sold the chocolate bar in 1849 at Bingley Hall, Birmingham.
